After a beautiful walk through town, we drive through the lush countryside towards the mountains. Prepare for a truly local experience, impossible to organize unless you know some friendly locals. Hidden in plain sight to the north of Rome and south of Florence, Umbria is sometimes referred to as the “new Tuscany” but this region has plenty of charm in its own right and a proud and unique culture, largely untouched by waves of conquests and immigration that influenced other Italian regions.
