Discover the hidden Tuscany you’ve always dreamed of slowly… Pretty towns, rolling hills and traditions that have stood the test of time
Come with us to one of the most renowned regions in all of Italy but prepare to do it the ‘Untold Italy’ way. We take small groups of travelers on a walk through fairytale towns where time stands still and get in touch with the traditions that have underpinned Tuscan culture for centuries.
We introduce you to medieval hilltop towns, spectacular castles, elegant Chianti wines, and, of course, the delicious local cuisine of this land. This is the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance that inspired great artists and writers. We’ll be walking through living history at every turn.
Delight in the ‘first green’ of the season on our Spring tour as we munch on fresh fava beans, lightly fried Acacia flowers, wild boar prosciutto, and tasty homemade egg pasta. The wafting smell of heavenly Pecorino cheese follows us as we wander down enchanting streets stopping to chat to the locals and meet the makers behind the recipes.
In the Fall, enjoy the bounty of the harvest season with fresh truffles, saffron, porcini mushrooms, peppery new season olive oil, and earthy chestnut inspired desserts.
Tuscany is truly a place of dreams and we’ll leave you mesmerised with her forever. Close your eyes and picture impressive pine trees, centuries old olive groves, beautiful vineyards and characteristic cypresses against the backdrop of tiny hamlets and rolling hills. Join us to live out your very own Under The Tuscan Sun adventure.
Tuscany has long held a place in our hearts thanks to beautiful Florence, the capital of this enchanting central Italian region famous for art, food, and wine.
Head to the countryside however, and you’ll encounter another side of Tuscan life. Here you’ll find rolling green hills, olive trees, vineyards, and gorgeous Medieval towns waiting to be explored.
Frances Mayes’ Under the Tuscan Sun may have cemented this region’s popularity with today’s traveler but there are still many quiet, undiscovered parts of Tuscany waiting for you. If you’ve dreamt of falling back through time in Italy, make sure to seek out untold Tuscany.
