    your untold italy tour Includes

You do not just stay anywhere on this journey – you feel part of each place you arrive in.

Stay in a tiny village, in a beautifully restored albergo diffuso where your room is part of the town itself. Wake to birdsong and the sound of footsteps on ancient cobblestones, coffee being poured and the scent of warm honey-soaked pastries in the air.

Feel like you have stepped into an artisan’s studio in the wild heart of Sardinia. Each room is uniquely decorated with Sardinian woven textiles. Relax at the spa or go for a refreshing swim in the pool and take in the breathtaking view of the rugged white mountains against bright blue skies.

End your stay tucked among olive trees and the coast at a boutique hotel just outside of Olbia. Breathe in the salty sea air, linger over your morning espresso in the garden and toast to the trip with a perfectly made cocktail in the evening.

At each place we stay at, it is the small details you will remember most, from the fresh flowers in your room and farm-fresh breakfasts to the feeling of being genuinely cared for.

You will not just see Sardinia when you travel with us – you will feel part of its wild beauty thanks to our local connections and insider knowledge.

Share a long, rustic lunch with a local shepherd in the mountains, an experience impossible to organise without local connections on the ground. Hear the unique melody of four men who sing in harmony, their voices embodying each of the four seasons in an ancient Sardinian tradition.

Step into workshops of rare artisans who have dedicated their lives to continuing time-honoured crafts. Watch masks take shape in Mamoiada, see fine strands of gold transformed into delicate filigree, and witness the almost mythical art of su filindeu, a pasta so rare only a handful of women still know how to make it.

Taste Sardinia through its people from small winemakers reviving indigenous grapes to bakers, cheesemakers, beekeepers and farmers.

Breathe in the sea salt air as you sail along the Emerald Coast, past hidden coves and crystalline bays.

Come and feel part of Sardinia in a way that will stay with you forever.

Taste the very best of Sardinia across kitchen tables, long tables in the vineyards, picnics with a shepherd in the mountains, rustic trattoria, street food in Cagliari and wonderful slow food restaurants.

Sink your teeth into slow roasted porceddu with crackling skin, malloreddus scented with saffron and rich sausage ragù, and paper-thin sheets of pane carasau baked for shepherds to carry into the hills. Savor creamy sheep and goat’s milk cheeses, bitter wild greens dressed simply with olive oil, and a pasta so intricate only a handful of women still know how to make it. Indulge in crisp, golden pastries filled with fresh cheese and finished with a drizzle of fragrant, slightly bitter honey.

On the coast it’s all about grilled fish, simple broths, and bottarga, a Sardinian delicacy shaved over pasta or served in thin slices with olive oil.

Sip wines that you will struggle to find outside the island from robust Cannonau, mineral Vermentino, to structured Carignano and many more indigenous varieties.

This is food that doesn’t follow trends or try to impress. It’s honest, delicious and tells the story of Sardinia with every bite.

Enjoy a comfortable and spacious air-conditioned minibus/minivan during your tour. You have space to spread out and there are no assigned seats so you can move around to the front or the back of the bus throughout the trip.

Tips and gratuities are included for local guides and your driver. Tips are not included for your tour host.

We pick up at Cagliari’s train station and drop off at Olbia International Airport.
